SANSHÈ
About the project:
A new beauty salon chain has opened in Dubai and Poland—currently without a name or brand identity but with a strong ambition to stand out in the beauty market. To make a bold statement from the start, the client approached FANDS for naming and a visual concept for the brand.

how We Did it:
During the development of the creative concept, we faced a challenge: to unify two salons in completely different locations—Warsaw and Dubai—under one common theme. That’s when the idea of embracing the sun came to life. Here’s why: first, one city lacks sunlight, while the other is filled with it. Second, the space design already evoked warm, sun-like vibes: the salon features rounded walls and a light interior.
Next, we moved on to naming. We were hesitant to simply use the word "Sun" in the name, as such names already exist in many languages and wouldn’t help create a distinctive brand. So, we continued our research and discovered that in Eastern Nepal, the sun is called "Sanhe." By adding the client’s initials, SS-, we created a new name for the beauty salon chain—SANSHÈ.
Sunshine. She. The sound of these words reflects the desired meanings and values of the brand: every woman who enters the beauty salon is bright, sunny, and beautiful inside.
The concept also came to life in the branding of SANSHÈ. We designed the logo, color palettes, and graphic elements, keeping the theme of the sun and endless summer. We also demonstrated how the brand identity would be applied on certificates, gift bags, and other salon materials.
